Not investment advice
TreasuryPilot is an analytical tool. It provides calculations, frameworks, and educational content to help business owners understand their cash flow and treasury options. It does not provide investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, or legal advice.
The analysis, projections, and scenarios generated by TreasuryPilot are based on user-provided financial data and publicly available interest rates. They do not constitute a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument, including Bitcoin.
You should consult a qualified financial advisor, accountant, or legal professional before making treasury allocation decisions for your business.
No guarantee of returns
Past performance of any asset class, including Bitcoin, is not indicative of future results. Interest rates on savings accounts, Treasury bills, money market funds, and certificates of deposit fluctuate and are not guaranteed. The yield comparisons shown by TreasuryPilot are based on rates at the time of analysis and will change over time.
Bitcoin is a volatile asset. Its value can decline significantly. Any allocation to Bitcoin carries risk of loss, including total loss. TreasuryPilot helps you calculate an allocation sized to your business, but it cannot predict or protect against market movements.
Data sources
Interest rates and instrument yields are sourced from publicly available data including Federal Reserve publications, Treasury Direct, and financial data providers. Rates are updated periodically but may not reflect the most current market conditions.
Financial statement analysis is performed on data provided by the user. TreasuryPilot does not verify the accuracy or completeness of uploaded financial data. The quality of the analysis depends on the quality of the input.
Instrument categories, not specific products
TreasuryPilot references instrument categories (e.g., “government money market funds,” “high-yield savings accounts,” “Treasury bills”) rather than specific financial products, funds, or issuers. This is intentional. The tool helps you understand what types of instruments are available for reserve management, not which specific product to purchase.
Privacy
Free tier: All file parsing, classification, and calculation happens in your browser using client-side JavaScript. No financial data is transmitted to any server. TreasuryPilot cannot access, store, or view your uploaded financial statements.
Pro tier (coming soon): Bank account connections use Plaid (US) or TrueLayer (UK) for authentication. TreasuryPilot never sees your bank login credentials. Transaction data is encrypted at rest. Users can delete all their data at any time.
FDIC and deposit insurance
TreasuryPilot may display FDIC insurance coverage information as part of its reserve analysis. FDIC insurance covers up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank. Deposits exceeding this limit may not be fully insured. TreasuryPilot flags potential exposure but does not guarantee the accuracy of insurance calculations for your specific situation. Consult your bank or a financial advisor for definitive coverage information.
Independence
TreasuryPilot is an independent project with no commercial relationship with any Bitcoin custody provider, exchange, brokerage, or financial product issuer. It does not receive referral fees, commissions, or compensation from any third party. See the About page for more information about who builds TreasuryPilot.
